I know Klaus from early childhood on. As a very close friend of my parents we met regularly to this time. He was known as the “gespenster-Klaus” for all children my age or younger, because he performed the best (!) Ghost, when playing hide and seek in the dark. Later as a young girl I was deeply impressed by his sense of unconventional beauty (no kidding!, e´realy love it!!). All the nice things he had collected on his journeys. Last time I saw him was 2019 on the anual goose-party with my parents. He was a great host. I am feeling really sad for the loss of Klaus for all of us, especially for his next friends and relatives. Send a lot love to all of you, especially you Michael! Eva

With the Grandkids

This photo was taken at Nathan and Sarah’s wedding in 2014, and is one of the better pictures of us and our Grandads. Between you and me, I think Klaus and I had done a couple shots of Tequila before it was taken.

erinnerungen

Love Margot.

Klaus was the good spirit in our house. When he was at home his door was open. Sometimes the door was open although he was not at home. Everyone knew he was somewhere around in the house. His door was always open for every one. I will never forget you. Love Margot.

Friend

Mike and Klaus had only been together for a matter of years [cut short to early ] . I only had the pleasure of meeting him a few times really, when he came over to England or when I visited Germany he always made me very welcome.
He loved his little nap in the afternoon and his excuse to have a little schnapps for his indigestion.
He was a lovely man and I’m sure he will be missed by many.
He and Mike were so much alike not only on the outlook of life but also in looks, many of my friends thought they were brother.
He is going to be sadly missed and our thoughts are with mike at this sad times.
